The Reality Families Face

Many families have important pieces in place—such as legal documents or accounts—but no coordinated financial strategy connecting them.
Without coordination, financial, legal, and tax decisions can unintentionally create inefficiencies, limit flexibility, or lead to outcomes that don’t align with the family’s long-term goals.

Planning for a loved one with special needs is not one-size-fits-all.
Some families prepare for lifelong support. Others expect increasing independence. Our role is to help plan for both—without locking you into one path.

Preparing financially for multiple possible outcomes

Supporting independence without limiting future options

Avoiding decisions that create unintended issues later

Founder Story – Why This Matters to Us

Founder Story – Why This Matters to Us

This work is personal.

Our perspective is shaped by founding Agape Riding Center (Henderson, MN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on animal-assisted therapy for individuals with disabilities.

Through that work, we supported individuals on the autism spectrum, foster children, and seniors using therapy animals.

We also served as foster parents, giving us direct exposure to the emotional and financial realities families face.

That experience continues to shape how we approach planning today focused on coordination, flexibility, and long-term clarity.

Our Approach

We focus on coordinated financial strategy—not isolated decisions.

Many families have pieces in place—but no coordinated financial strategy connecting them.

We help bring structure and clarity by coordinating:

  • Special Needs Trust planning (with attorneys)
  • ABLE accounts
  • Government benefit considerations (SSI / Medicaid awareness)
  • Tax-aware asset structuring
  • Beneficiary alignment and long-term planning

Our role is to help ensure each part of the plan works together—not as isolated decisions, but as a coordinated strategy.

Planning Gaps We See

Many families come to us with:

  • Legal documents in place, but no coordinated financial strategy
  • Confusion around benefit eligibility and funding decisions
  • Tax inefficiencies or misaligned assets
  • Uncertainty around long-term care and future responsibility
